Description
Full time position available. The Manager of Quality and Risk management is repsonsible for the oversight of planning, organizing, and directing the Hospital's quality management program and systems improvement initiative. This oversight includes Risk Management, Medical Staff Peer Review, nursing and non-nursing areas, and quality councils/committees, as well as assessment and directing of activities relating to organization systems improvement opportunities. Reponsibilities include coordination of monitoring activities for state, federal and accrediting bodies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Must have current Maine RN license, minimum of 1 year acute care experience in health care, and a minimum of 2 years experience in quality management/performance improvement. Must demonstrate proficiency in using Windows and Office programs.
