Jenifer Lloyd, president-elect of the Maine Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, will present the keynote address. Kathy Burgess, RN, will offer methods to reduce a woman's risk of breast cancer.
A fashion show featuring breast cancer survivors, several complimentary health screenings and chair massages are planned.
Educational talks and health screenings will include blood pressure, body composition, cholesterol, osteoporosis, dermascan, Wheel of Wellness and private self breast exam instruction, according to Parkview's Spirit of Women Director, Lisa Personett.
"Parkview is dedicated to the highest standard of excellence in women’s health outreach and care in body, mind and spirit," said Personett. "This is an evening of fun, friendship and education."
The Hilton Garden Inn is located at 5 Park Street, Freeport. The first 150 women to arrive at the event will receive a gift certificate, compliments of Clay Play Pottery in Yarmouth.
