BRUNSWICK – Do you think your chronic disease is unmanageable and genetically inevitable?  Are you confused about differing advice you’ve seen, so you don’t know how to control worsening conditions?

A free informational talk outlining effective interventions, prevention, risk factors, symptoms, treatment and feasible management of chronic diseases will be presented at Parkview Adventist Medical Center in an hour-long program called, “How to Prevent Chronic Disease.”

The program is set for Thursday, April 29, from 6-7 p.m., at the Wellness Center at Parkview, located at 331 Maine Street.  All who are burdened by disease, and their families, are welcomed.

Sheryl McWilliams, Vice President, RN, MPH answers key questions about getting control of diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease and other chronic diseases and conditions.  She will share proven methods for controlling chronic disease and coping with deteriorating conditions.

McWilliams dispels long-held misunderstandings about heart disease, stroke and other chronic diseases and shares practical, evidenced-based ways of living a healthier lifestyle.
