Sleep Lab From Harry Coddington, RRT, RPSGT
Parkview Adventist Medical Center’s Neuro-Diagnostic Lab
Diagnostic Sleep Center & EEG Center
I am happy to announce some exciting changes that make having a sleep study in our lab easier, more convenient and cost effective. Such as:
*We continue to accept direct referrals from primary care physicians with the option to consult with our sleep specialist before or after the sleep study.
*We will make the referral for CPAP for you.
*Our turn-around time ( sleep study performed to interpretation letter being sent ) is an average of 24-36 hours.
*We now offer daytime studies for those patients that work different shifts.
*We monitor our patient’s compliance and will intervene when patients are having problems with usage, mask leaks or ineffective therapy. For those patients we find having problems with therapy, we offer a Mask Acclimation Clinic that supports your patients through education, coaching and proper mask fitting. We will spend the correct amount of time for each patient’s needs.
*Home Sleep Testing (HST) is now available for those patients who meet the criteria (AASM criteria listed on separate included page).
*We currently have less than a two-week wait to get your patient into our lab for a sleep study.
*We offer education and free screening tools to our physician practices.
*As a complete Neuro-Diagnostic Department, we also do EEG’s. Parkview Neurologist
Dr. Peter Bridgman interprets all of the EEG’s.
*We accept referrals and orders from Primary Care Physicians who order the EEG for the
patient.
I hope you will take advantage of our new services. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions, concerns or suggestions on how we can serve you better. We appreciate your trust in partnering in your patient’s care.
